It's been a tradition three years in a row to have a summer weekend camp-out with some of our most excellent friends, and I have to say it's one of the highlights of our recent summers!

Roasted gigantic marshmallows
and pineapple
Ate a whole lot of Cheetos, and then a few more - and then Cheetos and marshmallows together!
What is that in my mouth - marshmallows or Cheetos? I'll never tell!
Brought the watercolors along - fun!
Didn't mind the rain one little bit
Seemed years and years older than she was just yesterday
Increased our numbers (last year almost half these kids were babies - they just seem like more as they grow!) We're may need more campsites soon
Played with flashlights
and on the beach. I didn't even pull out my camera (all these photos were taken by our friends the Teeples) so you won't see how fully waterlogged our kids got after everyone else left; so glad we packed extra changes of clothes and some warm blankets!

Really nice pictures... I especially love that serious one of Charlotte. Looks like you all had a great time.
Is this the trip that was followed by some illness? Seemed like Robert got sick right after a fun weekend. Wasn't sure if it was this one or not.
